The FSS Launches Electronic Filing Service Today

2016-11-01

The Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) officially launched the Electronic Filing Service today (November 1st).  From now on, employers can use the online system to report the information about the contributions of the obligatory system, to download the List of Non-Resident Workers Required to Pay Employment Fee and to make their payments through various electronic channels.  The FSS will hold several briefing sessions on the Electronic Filing Service in this month.

Starting today, employers who have applied to the FSS for the use of Electronic Filing Service can log in to the Electronic Filing System using their “ePass” accounts to report the employment information of their employees that belong to the obligatory system, enroll their employees as beneficiaries, download the Payment Advice, view the staff’s employment information and the relevant payment records, as well as to send the relevant information and documents to the FSS through electronic transmission.  Besides, employers with non-resident workers can also view and download the List of Non-Resident Workers Required to Pay Employment Fee using the same online system.

Besides all service points of the FSS, the Islands District and the Central District Public Services Centres under the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau and payment counters of nine designated  banks in Macao, employers who use the Electronic Filing Service can also make their payments through electronic channels such as autopay, online banking, Jetco network ATMs and BOC EXPRESS.

In order to familiarize employers with the contents of the Electronic Filing Service and the operation flow of the system, the FSS mailed out letters to all employers in Macao a month ago, to invite them to attend the briefing session.  The first briefing session was held at 3 p.m. on November 1st at the Lotus Room on the 5th floor of the Macau World Trade Center Building.  Over 150 business representatives attended the briefing session.  Representatives of the FSS included Chan Pou Wan, Vice-President of the Administrative Committee, and Chan Pou I, Head of Contribution Division, etc.
