Proof of Life – Introduction
In accordance with Articles 36 and 38 of Law No. 4/2010, the “Social Security System”, beneficiaries of the Social Security Fund who receive old-age or disability pensions are required to provide Proof of Life annually to maintain the payment of benefits.
Beneficiaries may submit Proof of Life starting from 1 January each year. If it is not submitted by 31 March, the payment of old-age or disability pensions will be suspended from April. Once the beneficiary completes the required procedure, the entitled benefits will be resumed.
