How to go through the formalities

Formalities and Required Documents

  1. The employer/legal representative can submit the following documents, either in person or through a representative, to a service point of the Social Security Fund:
    1. Application for a Certificate of Employer’s Contribution (FSS/DC-17(I))(Sample of form completion); (The form is available at all service points of the Social Security Fund or can be downloaded from the Social Security Fund’s website)
    2. The front and back photocopy of the Financial Services Bureau, Business Tax, Declaration Form for Business Commencement/Change of Information (M/1), or Business Tax Form M/7, or Business Tax Return M/8.
  2. Apply by logging in to the electronic filing system with “Macao One Account”:
    Employers using electronic filing service can apply for the Certificate of Employer's Contribution by logging in to the electronic filing system with “Macao One Account ”.

Fees

The stamp duty is paid at the time of collecting the certificate. (The stamp duty for the first page of certificate is 15 patacas, and each continuation page is 5 patacas.) – Payment methods

Time Required to Process

The approval process of the application will be completed within three working days after submitting the application form and the required documents (exclusive of the day of submission). (Performance Pledge)


Remarks/Points to Note

The certificate of contribution will be retained for six months, counting from the first day available for collection. The application will be cancelled if no one comes to collect the certificate before the deadline.

The way(s) to collect the service result:
To collect the certificate, the employer/legal representative can go to the location chosen on the application form, either in person or through a representative.
Documents to present or submit when collecting the service result:
  1. The employer/legal representative presents his/her original identification document;
  2. Company chop;
  3. The receipt issued at the time of application.
*If the certificate is collected by someone else, the employer/legal representative must fill in the Declaration of Certificate Collection on the back of receipt. To collect the certificate, the representative must bring along the company's stamp, the Declaration of Certificate Collection and present his/her original identification document.
