Announcement of the List for the 2026 Special Allocation from Budget Surplus under the Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund
2026-06-15

Today (15 June), the Social Security Fund announced the list of recipients for the 2026 Special Allocation from the Budget Surplus under the Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund System. From 9 am onward, residents may check the list via “Macao One Account”, the Social Security Fund website (www.fss.gov.mo), self-service kiosks, or the 24-hour interactive voice response hotline at 2823 0230.

Individuals who are not on the list but fall under the circumstances specified by the relevant legislation may, as of today, file a statement of objection via “Macao One Account” or in person at service counters.
Individuals on the list will receive an allocation of 7,000 patacas without completing any formalities. For those receiving an allocation for the first time, a one-off incentive basic fund of 10,000 patacas will also be granted.

Permanent residents who turn 22 in 2025, have resided in Macao for at least 183 days in that year, and are still alive on 1 January 2026, can be included in the list for the 2026 Special Allocation from Budget Surplus.

Individuals not on the list who fall under the circumstances specified by the relevant legislation may file a statement of objection. Periods spent outside Macao may be counted toward residence in Macao. If, after calculation, the 183-day residence condition is met, the allocation will be granted.

Reasons for filing a statement of objection include:

  1. Attending a tertiary education programme recognised by the competent authorities of the place concerned;

  2. Hospitalisation;

  3. Residing in the Chinese Mainland and being 65 or above, or residing in the Chinese Mainland and under age 65 but absent for health reasons, particularly to receive non-hospital care, palliative treatment, rehabilitation services, or family care;

  4. Working outside the Macao SAR for an employer registered with the Social Security Fund;

  5. Working outside the Macao SAR to bear the main living expenses of a spouse, a direct relative of any degree, or an in-law residing in Macao or in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin (hereinafter referred to as the “Cooperation Zone”);

  6. Performing official duties, duties for the Macao SAR, or other official functions;

  7. Residing, working, or attending a tertiary or non-tertiary education programme in the Cooperation Zone, recognised by the competent authorities.
    At the same time, if the reason is the same, residents need to submit only one application within this year to complete the distribution request procedures for both the 2026 Central Provident Fund and the 2026 Wealth Partaking Scheme, thereby avoiding duplication. The period for exercising the right to obtain the 2026 distributions is three years, meaning that the right will expire on 31 December 2029 and will become invalid thereafter.

Withdrawal applications for this year will begin in August. Residents may check the status of their automatic withdrawal registration and confirm whether they meet the conditions for automatic payment via “Macao One Account” or the Social Security Fund website. Senior residents who have already registered for automatic withdrawal and meet the payment conditions need not take any action, as the funds will be automatically deposited into the bank accounts used to receive their old-age or disability pensions on 24 September. Other eligible individuals who submit their applications via “Macao One Account” or self-service kiosks in August will likewise have the funds deposited into their bank accounts on 24 September. For those submitting withdrawal applications in paper form, the funds will be deposited into their designated bank accounts from 27 October onwards.
