Arrangements for fund allocation, filing an objection statement and fund withdrawal

 

20 June Announcement of the List of Special Allocation from Budget Surplus for 2024
 
  • Eligible account owners will be allocated 7,000 patacas
  • Persons not included in the list may file an objection statement
  • You can check your name in the list through the Social Security Fund’s website, 24-hour interactive voice response hotline, Macao One Account, self-service machine and at a service point

  Activate the Enquiry about Automatic Withdrawal Registration and the Payment (Social Security Fund’s website and “Macao One Account”)
 
  • Senior citizens age 65 and above can check whether they satisfy the eligibility requirements for automatic payment this year
  • Senior citizens who have registered and satisfy the eligibility requirements for automatic payment need not go through any formalities, and the funds will be automatically deposited on 25 September, in the bank accounts that are currently receiving old-age or disability pension from the Social Security Fund

Filing an objection statement
 
  • For the following reasons, account owners may file an objection statement via the “Macao One Account” or by visiting a service point in person:
  1. He or she attended higher level courses outside the Macao SAR;
  2. He or she attained age 65 and habitually resided in mainland China; (Guidelines for filing an objection statement via the "Macao One Account")
  3. He or she worked outside the Macao SAR in order to bear the main living expenses of his or her relative(s) in Macao
  • For other reasons, you may visit a service point to file an objection statement.

Application for Fund Withdrawal and Payment of Funds
  Persons who are not eligible for automatic payment need to apply for fund withdrawal themselves
  1. If you file an application by electronic means (“Macao One Account”/self-service machine) in August, the funds will be paid on 25 September, and if you apply in September, the funds will be paid on 23 October
  2. If you submit a paper application, the funds will be paid on 23 October

Note 1:
Account owners who do not receive old-age or disability pension from the Social Security Fund, Subsidy for Senior Citizens and Special Disability Subsidy from the Social Welfare Bureau can either use the "Macao One Account" or visit a service point in person to apply for withdrawal of funds.
