System Introduction

In order to optimize the reporting and payment procedures for Contributions of the Obligatory System and to enhance the quality of our service, the Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) launched the “Electronic Filing Service” on 1 November 2016.

Employers need to log in to the electronic filing system using "My Government Account of Macao SAR" to report the employment information of employees under the obligatory system, enroll the employees as beneficiaries, download data from the contribution payment advice, view the employment information of employees as well as the related payment record, apply for designated services, and transmit the information and documents to the Social Security Fund in electronic transmission mode.

Moreover, employers hiring non-resident workers can also view and download the List of Non-resident Workers Required to Pay Employment Fee using the same online system.

In addition to all service points of the FSS, Designated Public Services Centres and Stations under the Municipal Affairs Bureau, and payment counters of designated banks in Macao, employers using the Electronic Filing Service can also make their payment using the new electronic payment options.
