The SAR Government has accelerated the development of e-government in recent years, and the Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) has successively launched different e-services to improve its service quality and efficiency.  At present, using  the “Conta única de Acesso Comum" Mobile App, residents can apply for three allowances under the Social Security System (including marriage allowance, birth allowance and funeral allowance), start the payment of contributions of the arbitrary system and transfer the funds out of their government-managed sub-accounts of the non-mandatory central provident fund system.  On the unified platform interface, beneficiaries can also check the application status of marriage allowance and the application status of starting the payment of arbitrary system contributions.

      To apply for three allowances
      Within 60 days from the date of marriage, beneficiaries already registered their marriage in Macao can fill in the date of marriage on the "Conta única de Acesso Comum" Mobile App, and follow some simple steps to complete the application procedures of the marriage allowance.  There is no need to prepare a marriage certificate and other documents beforehand.  In addition, a beneficiary can apply for birth allowance within 60 days from the child’s birthday.  The funeral allowance must be applied within one year from the date of the beneficiary’s death.  After the application is approved, the three allowances above will be directly deposited in the applicant’s account via bank transfer, which is convenient and quick.

      To start the payment of contributions of the arbitrary system
      From now on, beneficiaries who have already enrolled with the FSS and have not been hired to work for others in Macao may use the “Conta única de Acesso Comum" Mobile App to apply, at anytime anywhere, to start the payment of contributions of the arbitrary system.  After the application is approved, the beneficiary can make use of various electronic channels (including AutoPay, online banking, self-service machines, etc.) to pay the contributions of the arbitrary system starting from the contribution month selected.

      To transfer the funds out of the government-managed sub-sccount of the non-mandatory central provident fund system
      Residents already participated in a contribution scheme of the non-mandatory central provident fund may also log in to the “Conta única de Acesso Comum" Mobile App to apply for the transfer of the balance of their government-managed sub-account to the contribution sub-account or preserved sub-account for investment, which is easy and convenient.
