The Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) found that some scammers pretended to be from the department and sent mobile text messages, requesting residents to log in to a website to update personal information so as to avoid their social security benefit payments being affected. 

The FSS clarified that it had not sent the above-mentioned text messages, and had reported the case to the Judiciary Police. The FSS also reminded residents not to click on the link if they receive the relevant text message, and to call the police if necessary.
