FSS will deposit the difference of the upped pensions and allowances into the bank accounts of beneficiaries from mid-June

According to the Executive Order published in the Official Gazette of Macao SAR, the upped pensions and allowances of the Social Security System are backdated to 1 January of the current year.  The Social Security Fund (FSS) said that they will start to pay the difference of the upped benefits from mid-June. 

In terms of pensions, the upper limit of old-age pension and the amount of disability pension will be upped to 3,180 patacas per month, and the relief payments will be increased to 2,083 patacas per month.  From 13 June, the difference for January to June will be deposited into the bank accounts of the relevant beneficiaries through autopay. 

In terms of allowances, the unemployment allowance will be upped to 127 patacas per day.  For sickness allowance, the hospitalization and non-hospitalization allowance per day is 127 and 96 patacas respectively.  The marriage allowance and birth allowance are both 1,800 patacas, and funeral allowance is 2,330 patacas.  All allowances are backdated to 1 January of the current year.  From 13 June, the FSS will start to deposit the difference into the bank accounts of beneficiaries whose applications were paid earlier, based on the occurrence date of various allowances.
