- The account owner may apply by logging in to the “Macao One Account” mobile app / online platform or “Online Services” of the Social Security Fund’s website. The service name for the Macao One Account is “Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund’s Account Overview/Check Your Name in the List/Fund Transfer—Transfer of Funds from Fund Management Entity to Government-Managed Sub-Account.”
- If necessary, you may also bring the following documents to the Social Security Fund to complete the formalities in person or through a representative. The forms can be obtained at various service points of the Social Security Fund or downloaded from the Social Security Fund’s website.
(1) Application for Transferring Funds to the Government-Managed Sub-Account (Form TI); (Form for download CH / PT) (Sample of form completion EN)

- All funds recorded in the sub-account must be transferred, and the funds can only be transferred to the government-managed sub-account once a year.
- If it is a joint provident fund scheme, the transfer is only permitted after the employer has notified the fund management entity of the termination of labour relationship and paid all contributions.
- If it is an individual provident fund scheme, it will be equivalent to notifying the fund management entity to terminate the contribution scheme.
- If the selected contribution sub-account has been converted into a preserved sub-account, the funds in the preserved sub-account will be transferred.
- After the fund transfer is complete, the fund management entity will cancel the selected sub-account.
- Due to the fluctuation of market prices, the price at which the fund management entity settles the fund unit may differ from the price at which the applicant files the application.
- If the address or telephone number is updated, please complete the “Change of Personal Particulars Form”.
- If you use the “Macao One Account”, you can check the progress in “My e-Affairs”
- Log in to the “Online Services” page on the Social Security Fund’s website to check the progress

- If you use the “Macao One Account”, you will receive a reminder message from the “Macao One Account”.
- If you apply using a method other than the “Macao One Account”, you can choose to receive an official letter or a mobile text message.
- If your application is not approved, an official notification letter will also be sent to you by post.
