- For account owner who attended higher level courses recognized by local competent authority;
- For account owner who was hospitalized;
- For account owner who reached age 65 and habitually resided in mainland China;
- For account owner under age 65 but habitually resided in mainland China on health grounds, particularly for the need for non-hospital nursing, palliative therapy, rehabilitative services or family care;
- For account owner who worked outside the Macao SAR for an employer registered with the Social Security Fund;
- For account owner who worked outside the Macao SAR in order to bear the main living expenses of his or her spouse, any degree of lineal consanguinity or affinity who resided in the Macao SAR;
- For account owner who performed official duties, performed duties for the Macao SAR or discharged other official duties;
- For account owner who had humanitarian or other properly explained reasons.

- Account owners can log in to the “Macao One Account” mobile app or the online platform, as well as the “Online Services” section of the Social Security Fund website, to complete the process;
- If necessary, account owners can submit the following documents either in person or through a representative. The forms are available at Social Security Fund service points or can be downloaded from the Social Security Fund website.
- Objection Statement Form (RP-02) (Form for Download CH/PT); (Sample of form completion EN)
- Photocopy of the account owner’s Macao SAR Resident ID Card;
- For proof of residence in mainland China, the account owner can submit the proof in either of the following two ways:
- A photocopy of the proof of residence issued by the civil affairs department, resident committee, village committee, or residential care facility in mainland China (the original must be presented for verification) must be on the agency’s letterhead paper (the contents include the issuing agency’s full name, address, and phone number, the account owner’s full name and ID card number, the period of residence and address in mainland China, and the document must also have the seal of the institution and the date of issue) (Proof of Residence Temlpate); or
- Fill in the “Declaration about Residence in Mainland China” section of the Objection Statement (Form RP-02) and two Macao SAR residents age 18 or above must be provided as witnesses (witnesses must sign and testify), and photocopies of their Macao SAR Resident ID Cards must be submitted.

- In some special cases where the vetting process cannot be completed on time, the account owner will be notified within 15 working days from the next day after submitting the application.
- Offline application: the vetting outcome will be communicated via an official letter; online application: the vetting outcome will be communicated via a push message from the Macao One Account or an official letter.

Service Target and Eligibility Criteria
Individual account owners under the non-mandatory central provident fund system who are not listed in the fund allocation may file an objection statement to the Social Security Fund. In the relevant calendar year, any time the account owner is outside the Macao SAR due to the following reasons will be counted as time spent within Macao. Account owners must provide sufficient supporting documentation themselves:
Application Result
After the account owner has submitted the objection statement and analyzed and processed by the Social Security Fund, he/she will be included in the list of fund allocation if he/she satisfies the requirement for fund allocation.

How to go through the formalities
Time Limit for Filing an Objection Statment
Under the non-mandatory central provident fund system, individual account owners have three years to claim the special allocation from the budget surplus for 2024. This means that the right to make a claim will expire on 31 December 2027 and will no longer be valid after that date.
Formalities and Required Documents
* If the account owner is incapacitated, please read the Formalities of Raising an Objection on Behalf of an Incapacitated Account Owner.
* If the account owner passes away during the fund allocation year, please refer to the procedures for filing an objection statement on the account owner’s behalf by a relative or the heir.
