To further facilitate Macao residents in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin (the Cooperation Zone in Hengqin") to access Macao’s public services, the Macao SAR Government's multi-functional self-service machines were officially stationed in the Cooperation Zone in Hengqin in September 2024. This allows Macao residents there to handle several public services of Macao at any time without returning to Macao in person, achieving the goal of providing Macao government services in nearby areas, cross-border, and through self-service options.
The multi-functional self-service machines provide dozens of self-services involving several government departments in Macao, including identification, social welfare, tax enquiries, municipal services, voter registration, transportation, and immigration.
Among them, self-services for the field of social security are as follows:
Check your contributions to the Social Security System
Check your benefit records under the Social Security System
Provide proof of life (Social Security Fund, Social Welfare Bureau, Pension Fund)
Pay contributions to the Arbitrary System
Start/suspend the payment of contributions to the Arbitrary System
Check your government-managed sub-account balance of the Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund
Check the name list of fund allocation of the Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund
Apply for fund withdrawal from your government-managed sub-account of the Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund and register for automatic withdrawal
Apply for transferring funds out of the government-managed sub-account of the Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund
