October is a contribution month.  Employers and the beneficiaries of the arbitrary system are required to pay contributions in October.  The Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) reminds members of the public that the St. Lazarus Parish Field Office is now closed for renovation works.  The temporary office is located at the Exhibition Hall of Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, and the "Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion" bus stop is standing in front of the entrance of the office.  The public can take a number of bus routes to get there.

The whole building of St. Lazarus Parish Field Office of the FSS located at Rua Eduardo Marques has been closed and is now undergoing renovation works.  Members of the public who need to handle their social security services (e.g. payment of contributions) at the service counters can go to the temporary office of the FSS at Tap Seac nearby.  The "Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion" bus stop stands in front of the entrance of the temporary office.  Members of the public can take bus route numbers 2A, 7, 8, 8A, 9, 9A, 12, 18, 22, 25 and 25X to get there.  Besides, they can also go to Areia Preta Service Centre of the Macao SAR (Area of Social Security and Employment), or the FSS field office located on the 13^th floor of China Civil Plaza building in NAPE for payment of contributions.

Besides paying contributions at the service counters, members of the public can make payment through a variety of electronic payment methods, which is both convenient and fast. For details, please visit the thematic web page at www.fss.gov.mo/en/sites/edeclare.  In addition, the FSS has now provided a number of online services, members of the public can visit the website of the FSS for simple enquiries, or check the more detailed personal social security information and apply for the certificate of beneficiary’s contribution using their ePass accounts.  Besides, there are self-service machines set up at 45 locations in all districts of Macao for enquiries about the social security system and various applications.
