- For account owner who attended higher level courses recognized by local competent authority;
- For account owner who was hospitalized;
- For account owner who reached age 65 and habitually resided in mainland China;
- For account owner under age 65 but habitually resided in mainland China on health grounds, particularly for the need for non-hospital nursing, palliative therapy, rehabilitative services or family care;
- For account owner who worked outside the Macao SAR for an employer registered with the Social Security Fund;
- For account owner who worked outside the Macao SAR in order to bear the main living expenses of his or her spouse, any degree of lineal consanguinity or affinity who resided in the Macao SAR;
- For account owner who performed official duties, performed duties for the Macao SAR or discharged other official duties;
- For account owner who had humanitarian or other properly explained reasons.
- The objection statement can be filed by logging in to the “Macao One Account” mobile app / online platform;
- If necessary, account owners may submit the following documents in person or through a representative. The form is available at all service points of the Social Security Fund or can be downloaded from the Social Security Fund’s website.
- Objection Statement (RP) (Form for Download CH/PT); (Sample of form completion EN)
- Photocopy of the account owner’s Macao SAR Resident ID Card;
- Transcript(s) or the proof of school attendance (Proof of School Attendance Template) for the period from January to December 2023, issued by the school or printed online in 2024. The transcript or proof of school attendance must contain the school name, the account owner’s full name (must match the name on the ID card), the student ID number, period of school attendance, name of major/faculty (must be a higher education course recognized by the local competent authority). Student IDs or tuition bills are not accepted. (If the programme was completed between January and December 2023, please submit a photocopy of the relevant diploma.)

Account owners who are not included in the list of fund allocation may file an objection statement to the Social Security Fund.If an account owner was outside the Macao SAR in a relevant calendar year due to the following reasons, the period that he or she stayed outside the Macao SAR can also be counted as the time he or she stayed in Macao. The account owner is required to provide sufficient evidence of his/her own:

After the account owner has submitted the objection statement and analyzed and processed by the Social Security Fund, he/she will be included in the list of fund allocation if he/she satisfies the requirement for fund allocation.

How to go through the formalities
Time Limit for Filing an Objection Statment
Prescription for claiming entitlement to allocation of funds for 2024 is 3 years, i.e. the right will expire on 31 December 2027, which will become invalid after this date.
Formalities and Required Documents
* If the account owner is incapacitated, please read the Formalities of Raising an Objection on Behalf of an Incapacitated Account Owner.
* If the account owner dies, please refer to the procedures for filing an objection statement on the account owner’s behalf by a relative or the heir.
