FSS added a More Convenient “Self-Print of Contributions Record” Service to Facilitate the Public

2015-12-17

Beginning today, the Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) provides the “Self-Print of Contributions Record” Service.  Members of the public can print their social security contributions record of the past five years, using their personal ID cards, through a self-service machine located at the service points of the FSS.

The self-service machines that provide the above service are located at FSS St. Lazarus Parish Field Office (Address: Rua Eduardo Marques, n.os 2-6, Macau; Office hours: Monday through Thursday: 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., Friday: 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.), China Civil Plaza Field Office in NAPE (Address: Alameda Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção, n.os 249-263, Edf. China Civil Plaza, 13º andar B-C, Macau; Office hours: Monday through Thursday: 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., Friday: 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.), and the 24-hour Self-Service Area of Areia Preta Service Centre of the Macao SAR (Address: Rua Nova da Areia Preta, N.º 52).

The steps of “Self-Print of Contributions Record” are simple.  Just follow the instructions on the screen, insert your personal smart ID card, scan your fingerprint and that’s all!  The contributions record printed out will contain the beneficiary’s contributions record of the past five years, including information such as name of employer, the years and months with contributions and the total number of contribution months.  Such contributions record does not have the force of a certificate.  It is only for the beneficiary’s reference only.

Moreover, if members of the public need to apply for a “Certificate of Beneficiary’s Contribution”, they are required to properly complete the application form and take the required documents to FSS St. Lazarus Parish Field Office, China Civil Plaza Field Office or Areia Preta Service Centre of the Macao SAR (Area of Social Security and Employment), either in person or through a representative, or to apply the certificate through a self-service machine using your personal ID card.  After completing the application, the certificate will normally be available for collection after three working days and a stamp duty is payable on this application.

FSS advises members of the public to regularly check their personal contributions record in order to protect their own rights and interests.  For enquiries, please visit the FSS website at www.fss.gov.mo or call 2853 2850 during office hours.
