Self-service machines

The beneficiary may bring along the original Macao SAR Resident ID Card, and provide in person the proof of life at self-service machines set up at different locations in Macao. 

• Beneficiaries can provide the proof of life to the Social Security Fund, Social Welfare Bureau, and Pension Fund at the same time.

• Self-service machines are set up at different locations in Macao.  Some self-service machines provide services to the public 24 hours a day and some are of accessible height (for people with disabilities).  For details, please visit the Identification Services Bureau’s website.

• After providing the proof of life, you can get a receipt from the self-service machine, showing the information and results of this process, or after three working days from the day following the provision of proof of life, log in to the Social Security Fund’s website, using “My Government Account of Macao SAR” for enquiry about the result of the process.

• After providing the proof of life, the beneficiary him/herself and his/her family members (spouse, parents, children) can also log in to “My Government Account of Macao SAR” mobile application, and use the “Enquiry” function to check the status of the beneficiary’s provision of the proof of life.
